Connections: a Place to Connect & Share Our mission is to provide a place for families to connect and share with each other. We accomplish this by offering five different venues for communicating with one another and the correct USMC Offices:
Message boards for Marine and Recruit parents
The message boards give the unique opportunity of connecting family members whose Marines are stationed together in Iraq or Afghanistan, or whose recruits are together in basic training (bootcamp)
A chat room is open for three hours each evening and is frequented by folks with questions, and assisted by trained Volunteers from the web site
Live support to talk with a volunteer from MarineParents.com about concerns or questions, or to just be a listening ear
Database of local support military groups to help folks connect with each other in their local communities
Database of USMC Units to learn about the specific unit of a family members Marine, such as location, contact information, phone numbers, mailing addresses, and more
We help families of Marines by answering questions and providing information about
Returning from a combat zone
Legal issues and how to solve problems while Marine is deployed
How to contact the USMC, and who to contact
Ideas on how to support the troops besides care packages
